Significant Performance & Gameplay Improvements
Significant Performance & Gameplay Improvements
After receiving several reports about poor performance—especially during cutscenes—this update aims to address those issues. Thanks to a new system that preloads shaders (shader warm-up) at the start of the game, performance should now be more stable and stuttering significantly reduced. This might make the game take a little longer to boot or load, but the difference is minimal—and the improvement in performance is definitely noticeable.
This patch also brings improvements to input responsiveness: blocking, shooting, and dodging now feel much more fluid and responsive, making it easier to switch smoothly between actions in combat.
In co-op mode, inventory management has also been improved. Previously, it was difficult for both players to use the inventory at the same time. With this update, each player can now manage their items independently and simultaneously without issue.
I’ve also improved the combat effectiveness of your AI companion, so they’ll now be more helpful during fights.
Other minor tweaks and improvements have been made to audio and gameplay as well.
Thanks again for all your support!
As a tip: if you’re still experiencing performance issues—especially in split-screen co-op—try disabling VSync and capping your framerate at 30 or 60 FPS, depending on your PC’s performance.
